Five Things To Remember On Nov. 7

1. Pope Francis tweeted this morning, "Saints are people who belong fully to God. They are not afraid of being mocked, misunderstood or marginalized."

2. Remember, the USCCB will elect the next president and vice president of USCCB during the bishops’ annual fall General Assembly, November 11-14. Follow along at #USCCB13.

3. Each year on November 11, we observe Veterans Day and remember all those who have served our country in times of war. Among those veterans are our military chaplains. We conclude our blog series today at noon here.

4. “There is much that we can do to benefit the poor, the needy and those who suffer, and to favor justice, promote reconciliation and build peace,” Pope Francis said. Catholics are being encouraged to follow his example by supporting the Collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development later this month.

5. God loves you.
